- Download and install Nokia Ovi Suite from Nokia
- Connect E71 to PC with USB cable
- Open Nokia Ovi Suite, synchronize E71 contacts to windows contacts
- Connect iPhone and run iTunes
- synchronize iPhone contacts with windows contacts

I have experience with App named Phonecopy. It synchronizes all contacts between mobile phone and cloud service http://www.phonecopy.com . I had Nokia E71 and switched to iPhone 4. I synchronized E71 then i edited and managed my contact to have it finally in correct format (exclude duplicities, adding international prefix, correcting names etc.). Then i installed Phonecopy to my iPhone and within seconds i had all my corrected contacts in iPhone as well. Phonecopy keeps history of all changes include deleted contacts. I recomed it for anybody to backup or synchronize contacts from iPhone, Nokia, Samsung. Just try http://iphone.phonecopy.com .
OMG that is so helpful, others how-to pages instruct me to manually copy and change the sim card to my iPhone or that i must have an outlook account, this is soooo much easier! thanks

I don’t know why Phonecopy (http://www.phonecopy.com ) offers their service free to everyone.
But I have suspects. It’s a perfect oppoturnity to copy ALL your contacts from your mobile phone – and sell further to telemarketers, SMS-spammers et cetera.
I don’t know IF they do that – but they have all the possibilities! Namely, Phonecopy tranfers all your contacts by routing them thru their servers!

I figured out an alternative way to do this that is relatively pain free. I have a nokia e71 and I wanted to transfer contacts to my nexus s android phone.
1. In my nokia I went to my contacts -> mark all -> send business card -> via bluetooth. It creates a whole bunch of .vcf files that are then sent to the android and stored in the Bluetooth folder.
2. Then I went into my contacts in the android -> import contacts -> import from USB (thats how it is in the nexus s ) -> import all contacts
Voila ! All my old contacts were now in the android phone. You can now sync with gmail contacts if you so wish. There is no need to upload to some third party site Like phonecopy. Nor is there need to physically remove sd disks or go via your pc. Hope this helps 🙂
