As we all know, there are a lot of videos on YouTube, many HD videos creation and production are very beautiful. If you want to download to your desktop PC or watch these videos on the mobile device for free, what should I do?
Enter  “how to download YouTube videos free” in Google, we will find many free websites and software that provide such services, however, most of them can only download SD YouTube videos, for those with 720p or 1080P HD YouTube videos, these free websites and software can not do it. Before, The AVCWARE published the Free YouTube Video Downloader that can download HD  video from YouTube, but this feature was removed from them latest free version. Fortunately, I have a copy of the earlier version of this software (version: 3.3.0 build-20120525), still preserved download HD YouTube videos feature in this free version.
Need to be aware of is that in this version, if you use copy and paste the YouTube video URL to download, so you can only get standard definition video. If you want to download YouTube videos to HD, you must enter the YouTube through the software’s built-in browser and download the videos that you want. The steps are as follows:

The first step

Open the AVCWARE  Download YouTube Video and entering www.YouTube.com in the address bar or click on the YouTube icon to enter the YouTube.

The second step

Enter the video page that you want to download, such as http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R4em3LKQCAQ&feature=g-music. The software will pop up a prompt box, meaning that, if the video is preceded by advertisements, you will have to wait official video content starts playing until the advertising end and then start the download. If you do not follow this approach, you may download the ads video.
There are two download buttons you can click in the software interface, their functionality is the same.

The third step

Select the highest definition in the pop-up dialog box. Note that not all YouTube videos are HD versions, but also there is difference between 720p and 1080p HD video. You must choose highest definition. In this way, The HD YouTube videos will download  to your desktop PC.

From the beginning of last month, YouTube’s lawyers have made a lawyer’s letter  to a number of websites (such as yotube-mp3.org, Music-Clips.net)  and threatened them will bear the legal consequences if they continued downloading and conversion services  from YouTube. Meanwhile, some software download sites (such as CNET), also start deleting YouTube to MP3 software at the request of YouTube.

 

These sites have large traffic, They are putting  pressure on YouTube through a variety of ways. If you want to or are using these services, please visit Sign a public petition in favor of YouTube recording tools to support them.

How to download your favorite music from YouTube music videos or convert to MP3 and listen them? At this point, three ways, the first approach is to use sites that provide downloads and conversion services, such as YouTube-MP3.org, www.video2mp3.net, www.vidtomp3.com, and so on, these sites provide a good service, and most of them are free. You only need to enter the URL of YouTube music video, wait a 3-5 minute, you can get the MP3 that you want. Of course, you may be subjected to interference with some ads. Another way is to use the client software. How to find them? Enter key word ‘free YouTube video downloader’,’YouTube video converter’ in Google, you will find many software that have similar features, many of them are free. They are also very simple to use, enter the YouTube music video url, and then download or convert. The third method is using a browser plugin. I don’t recommend this, some plug-in will tend to increase the risk of decrease the performance of the machine, and often cause the browser to crash.

The basic needs are met, but if we want to download or convert YouTube 100 music video, regardless of the site or software is used above, is a very complicated thing, you have to open the each URL of these 100 music videos, and then enter URL in the site or in the software, and then go to download or convert. You need to repeat 100 times, very crazy. I compiled the YouTube 100 music video URL(June 28), you can use your favorite site or software, dedicated to copy, paste, download, or converted, at least you can save some time.

I had mentioned above, these sites or software features are similar, are able to complete video downloading and conversion, but if you want to bulk download or convert YouTube 100 music video, no one can do it better. If I have to pick one, Xilisoft YouTube series software might be a bit different, their YouTube series software has a built-in browser, you can open YouTube directly, complete to browse, download, conversion in this software. It sounds a little fun. In addition, Xilisoft YouTube series software has already built some YouTube videos list, such as “Most Viewed,Most Discussed” and so on, you can bulk download or convert video of these lists, it sounds like pretty cool. However, I was not too interested, because these lists are not my favorite, and when you bulk download music videos, you cannot select the video quality, only download them with the default resolution of the video, which means that if you want HD videos, you cannot use the batch download feature, is very depressed. I don’t know if Xilisoft developers can improve their product.

When I was going to this post I get the message, earlier this month, Google has issued a lawyer’s letter to some Web sites, asking them to stop providing download and convert service from YouTube. These Web sites including the YouTube-MP3.org mentioned above, please read www.YouTube-MP3.org/help-us. Perhaps, we will not be able to download videos from YouTube  in the not too distant future.
